For the past few years she’s been behind the scenes hosting her nationally syndicated talk show, “The Yolanda Adams Morning Show”. She was the only GOSPEL performer on this year’s Grammy Awards, and now she’s prepping to release her eleventh studio album. Her new album, “Becoming” will be released on May 3, 2011 exclusively through Wal-Mart. The leading single, “Be Still” has already began to be played on radio.

Bishop Hezekiah Walker-Concert & Official Announcement of His Elevation to Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Churches of Jesus ChristTuesday, April 26th, 2011
On April 24th, which is known by the gospel community as “Resurrection Sunday”, Bishop Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Tabernacle hosted morning and evening services at the Brooklyn Marriott in NYC. We were able to attend the evening service where communion was served and the official anouncement ceremony of his elevation took place. The evening’s announcement ceremony was just a pre-cursor to the June 12th ceremony that will take place in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was followed by a gospel concert featuring: The Love Fellowship Tabernacle Choir, The Nevels Sisters, JMoss, JJ Hairston&YouthFul Praise, and Tye Tribbett. Bebe Winans was also in the house to help celebrate with Bishop Walker. It was a wonderful time had by all! Congratulations Bishop Walker! We will remind our readers about Bishop’s elevation services as the ceremonial date approaches.
New recording artist Gail Holmes has released debut CD entitled “I Receive Your Love” on the Habakkuk Music label on April 19th, 2011. Holmes’ project features an array of sounds and a song penned by the incomparable Donald Lawrence. Prayers are going to the founders, staff, and team of Malaco Records. The offices and buildings of Malaco records were affected by the tornado that came through Mississippi on Friday and Saturday. News source have reported that the tornado completely destroyed one of the buildings and tore the structure of two other buildings completely in half . Thankfully no one was injured, and the employees and volunteers have been spending the weekend trying to sort through the debris to see what remains. One of the buildings storing over 40 years of music was slightly damaged. Malaco has been a staple in the music industry for many years. The independent record label has been home to legendary artist such as The Mississippi Mass Choir, The Caravans, and the Rev. James Cleveland. Many gospel artist have passed through the legendary studio to record some of Gospel most ground-breaking and life changing projects, such as Bebe and Cece Winans. Wolf Stephenson who is the co founder of the label stated in an interview, there is no word if there are plans to rebuild the company which had been staple in Music Industry and Business since 1967.
After a 10 year Hiatus from recording as a duo, Dawkins & Dawkins ( Eric& Anson Dawkins) are releasing a new project entitled “From Now On” on their new label home, Light Records. It is set to hit stores on June 28th! These brothers are respected producers, writers, and vocalists in the music world. There reach spans across the gospel, pop, and R&B genres. Although they have continued to record,write, produce , and sing on other projects and for other artists, their release as a duo is highly anticipated. R&B star Shirley Murdock is gearing up for a live recording of a project entitled “The Journey”. The recording will include collaborations with legendary gospel and R&B vocalists such as: Beverly Crawford, Regina Belle, and Kelly Price. It wil take place at the Broadcast Group Complex in Charlotte, North Carolina. Check it out if you can!
