New Releases From Dorinda Clark-Cole & Judith McAllister

On Tuesday 8/30 two of Gospel’s beloved female vocalists released albums. Dorinda Clark-Cole released her highly anticipated “I Survived” on Light Records. While Judith McAllister released her highly anticipated “Sound the Trumpet” on Shanachie Entertainment. Gospel music lovers are definitely in for a great treat with both projects. Check your music retailers for both projects.

Isaac Carree Tops Gospel & Christian Billboard Charts this Week w/ “Uncommon Me”

Last Week we told you about the release of  “Uncommon Me” by noted gospel vocalist, Isaac Carree. This week he is topping charts. “Uncommon Me” is at the #1 spot on the Top Gospel &Top Christian Billboard Charts. Carree is affiliated with the Sovereign Agency (Management) and Universal Music Christian Group (Distribution). Congratulations to Isaac Carree and his team!

Isaac Carree Releases His 1st Solo Project “Uncommon Me” Today!

Today Isaac Carree releases his highly anticipated solo project titled “Uncommon Me“. Carree is a noted vocalist in the gospel music world. We remember him from his days with John P.Kee & New Life, the hit urban gospel male group Men of Standard, and  most recently with Kirk Franklin. His new single “In The Middle” has been heard across the nation. He teamed up with some great artists on this effort. Check your music retailers to pick up this project.

GMWA 2011 To Be Held in Tampa, Florida!Take a Peak @ Some of the Highlights!

This year’s Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) will take place in Tampa, Florida at the Tampa Convention Center from August 13th-19th.  The week will be filled with events. There will be  showcases, concerts, daily services, and a special concert commemorating the late Reverand James Cleveland, founder of GMWA. VerizonHow Sweet The Sound” will sponsor two midnight musicals that will feature: Kirk Franklin, James Fortune & F.I.Y.A, Rance Allen, John P.Kee, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Marvin Sapp, Jessica Reedy, and JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise. Indie Artist-JNewry Teams Up W/ the National Multiple Sclerosis Society

Independent Artist JNewry (Justin Newry) has released a single, “I’ll Say Yes“, from his forthcoming EP, “JNewry EP Vol. 1“. Half of the proceeds from the entire EP will be donated to the National MS Society.  For now, the single is available on Itunes for download. Justin is very passionate about this cause because his mom is living with Multiple Sclerosis and he is hopeful that with God and garnering financial support to fund research, that he can make an impact.  His decision is a great testament to what we are here on this Earth to do. God has gifted many to create beautiful music, but our ultimate goal is to use those gifts for ministry.  You can support this charitable effort by purchasing the single. Chrysler Brand & Eight Mile Style LLC Releases a Gospel Version Of “Lose Yourself” With Michigan Based Choir, “Selected of God”

Chrysler Brand And Eight Mile Style LLC (Eminem’s Music Publishing group) have joined forces to provide funding for three amazing charitable organizations in Detroit, Michigan.  They have released a Gospel Version of his acclaimed song, “Lose Yourself“. The publishing proceeds of the re-vamped song will go to the selected charities. The Chrysler Brand and Eight Mile Style LLC collaborated earlier this year for the “Born Of Fire” campaign during the 2011 Superbowl, where the original version of “Lose Yourself” was featured. The goal of the “Born of Fire” campaign was to bring awareness to their brand tagline “Imported From Detroit“.

The “Selected of God” choir out of Grosse Point,  Michigan were chosen for the re-recording. The three charities that will benefit from the song are: Abayomi Community Development, The Yunion (a youth development organization), and The Robert S. Shumake Scholarship Foundation (Scholarship for a highschool track/field competition).

The song is available for download on Itunes and there is a video available on YouTube for viewing purposes.

Lisa’s captivating voice has allowed her to grace the Billboard Gospel Music chart  and radio airwaves across the nation with her #1 single,  ”I Want To Say Thank You”.  Gospel music listeners should expect the release of her new project in early 2012.
