Bobby Jones Gospel reported the passing of Emily Harris (pictured above second from right) via their official fan page on Facebook today. Harris travelled the world with Dr. Jones for over 2 decades as part of the New Life Singers (recording the critically acclaimed 1993 Tyscot CD Bring It To Jesus) and then as part of the Nashville Super Choir. Funeral Arrangements are as follows:

RIP Emily!!! You will be truly missed but God knows best! There was no group like this set of New Life Singers here – they truly had something special. Praying for Bobby Jones Gospel and company.
I have heard nothing about Emily Harris’ passing until today and I’ve watched Bobby Jones Gospel every Sunday – except, this past sunday was new and I don’t recall seeing Emily!
I prayers go out to Emily’s family and Bobby Jones Gospel.

I am so sorry, I didn’t know she had passed away. She was always one of my favorites even though I didn’t know her name! RIP Emily I will miss seeing you….May God give comfort to her family.
