No one can ever forget her amazing vocals from her days with “Sounds Of Blackness”. One of their smash hits that still resonates with music lovers ”Optimistic”, featured Nesby’s her powerful vocals. Ann Nesby is a veteran in the game. she has penned songs for Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight, and was featured in the 2003 inspirational film “The Fighting Temptations” alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. and Beyonce.
