When we post
ed the rehearsal footage of More of You from Earnest Pugh’s “The W.I.N. (Worship In Nassau) Experience” CD that releases September 17, 2013 on P-Man Records, we knew THEN this song would have definite impact. We weren’t wrong. More of You debuted at #26 on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs Chart. The single is also available for download on iTunes and both a live concert video and a typography video of the song were posted.
Recorded live in Nassau, Bahamas in the Grand Ballroom of the Atlantis Hotel, the album commemorates Pugh’s 20-15 Celebration – twenty years in ministry and fifteen years in the music Industry. The project includes the CD and a DVD of the full-length concert that boasted cameos by gospel icon Shirley Caesar, Rance Allen, LeJuene Thompson and the energetic choir, Vincent Tharpe & Kenosis

Ready, the new release from Habakkuk Music recording artist Lisa Page Brooks is making the rounds and receiving a warm reception at ra
dio and from her fans. God Thing, the radio single debuted in the Top 30 on the BDS Gospel indicator chart and Lisa was favored to share special moments with Cathy Hughes and Habbakuk Music CEO April Washington at Radio One’s Praise 104.1FM First Ladies Tea and Luncheon. Hughes attended the event with her mother and sister (pictured on the right).
Brooks returns to the motor city this weekend to host the Restored Women Sharing Conference alongside her husband, noted songwriter and producer Bishop Michael Brooks and their Restoration Fellowship Church International family where she shares pastoral duties. The conference welcomes Sharon Willingham and Tonya Baker as guests psalmists.

The Mississippi Mass Choir has
set September 20th for their 10th live recording in celebration of Gospel Music Heritage Month as well as their 25th anniversary. All roads will lead to the Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, Mississippi for this highly anticipated event with Stan Jones in the producer’s chair. The choir kicked off the official 25th anniversary celebration tour in Houston with noteworthy appearances alongside Dr. Myrlie Evers Williams and Julian Bond at the NAACP celebration for Medgar Evers and the AME Zion Church Convocation. Additional tour dates are scheduled during the fall in the midwest and the east coast.

hop Larry D. Trotter is counting his blessings and giving God all the praise. He returned to the pulpit at the Sweet Holy Spirit Church where he serves as pastor following an extended absence for cancer surgery and treatment. Bishop Trotter was greeted with the news that I Know a Man, the first single from his upcoming release PRAISE REVISITED (Utopia Music Group) landed on Billboard’s Gospel New & Active Chart.
“I Know A Man” written and produced by Calvin Rodgers and Phillip Feaster and co-produced by James Lott is being met with great enthusiasm by radio around the country landing on Gospel’s New & Active radio chart this week, while pushing into Billboard Gospel Singles Top 30. In a short time span this song has pulled in a weekly listening audience of over 400,000 ears across the United States.

. Adding to the list, Pastor Shirley Caesar’s Annual Outreach Ministries Conference is set to take place August 4th through August 9th in Raleigh, NC. Pastor Caesar has some of the nation’s foremost singers are preachers including Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Evangelist Jekalyn Carr, Prophet Todd Hall, Isaac Caree, Chrystal Rucker, Kevin LeVar and Chrystal Rucker.

Kierra Sheard announced the Bold Right Life Experience 2013 will take place in her home town of Detroit on August 13-15th. Among the lineup of preachers and singers joining her for the conference are Chicago’s Pastor john Hannah and Jonathan McReynolds, Sarah Jakes, Canton Jones, Tasha Cobbs, and Pastor John P Kee and New Life.

Among
st the cloud of great gospel musicians is one Chicago native Ernest Allen Jr. After years accompanying a venerable list of gospel greats including the late Rev. Timothy Wright, the late Rev. James Moore, The Clark Sisters, Ricky Dillard and Jesse Campbell, Minister Allen has finally released an instrumental CD entitled Hymns For The Soul. Allen gives his interpretation of the classic church standards Great Is Thy Faithfulness, It is Well and the Yes Lord Praise. The CD is available on iTunes.
