The Can Do Mentality of Earnest Pugh

Wednesday, May 14th, 2014

EarnestPughWhen Earnest Pugh sings the words of scripture as found in Philippians 4:13, it takes on a special meaning for him.  “When I got the call from Michael Matthews about doing the show I was blown away because it’s been eight years since I read a theater script so ( I strongly felt)  my acting skills need work,” Pugh recalls. “He strongly disagreed and insisted that I join the cast of `Aint Too Proud To Beg’.  It was a simple task of just laying claim to the principles of faith.  Pugh made a believer out of himself and won over audiences receiving rave reviews for his performances.   Pugh’s duet with Bishop Rance Allen “All Things Through Christ” (from “The W.I.N. Worship in Nassau Experience”) finds itself in the top 20 of Billboard’s Gospel Songs chart.    “Now, Mike has signed me up for the Broadway-level show he’s launching in the fall. All I can say is: all things through Christ and God has been so good to me.”
