The African Methodist Episcopal Church International Music and Christian Arts Ministry (MCAM) Conference brings Pastors, Praise leaders, Drama teams and liturgical dancers from across the country to the city of Chicago November 4th – 7th. Reverend Anthony Vinson, MCAM Director, shared his excitement about this year’s event: “we are elated to be back in Chicago this year, grateful to God for all his blessings. This is the time that we are able to gather from all parts of the globe for fellowship and a time of impartation. The bible instruction was for us to play both loud and skillfully and it is to our advantage to seek every opportunity to perfect our skills and abilities to offer greater service to the body of Christ.
The MCAM Conference will bring a number of noted clinicians and gospel artists to Chicago including Lamar Campbell, Melonie Daniels, Troy Bright, and Adrian Dunn. Additional details can be found at the MCAM website. Other highlights include the welcome service with keynote speaker Bishop John Bryant, a musicians clinic and the DVD recording of the AME Mass Choir.
