We’re bringing some church to the White House!” were President Obama’s opening remarks for the White House Gospel Music Celebration last Tuesday. Among the list of performers included: Pastor Shirley Caesar, Rance Allen, tamela Mann, Rodney Crowell, Darlene Love, the Morgan State University Choir, Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett and Aretha Franklin. ABC’s Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts served as Mistress of Ceremonies.
