Motown Gospel was well represented during the nominees announcement for the for the 47th Annual Dove Awards. Tasha Cobbs received four nominations for her One Place Live CD, including Gospel Artist of the Year and Urban Worship Album of the Year. She also picked up nominations for Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year “Put A Praise On It,” and Urban Worship Recorded Song of the Year “Fill Me Up.”
John P. Kee, received two nominations for Traditional Gospel Album of the Year and Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for “Level Next.”
The remaining two nominations for the label went to Janice Gaines and Lifestyle Music’s Tim Bowman Jr. who were both nominated in the Contemporary Gospel/Urban Recorded Song of the Year for “Wait On You,” and “I’m Good”
