Kirk Franklin announced via webcast that the 28th Annual Stellar Awards will honor Kurt Carr with the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award.
A gifted songwriter, musician, arranger and producer, Kurt Carr has been a staple in gospel music for over 20 years and together with the Kurt Carr Singers has blessed audiences across the country with great gospel hits such as For Every Mountain, God Blocked It, I Almost Let Go, The Presence of the Lord is Here, In the Sanctuary and countless others. His production credits include Byron Cage, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Tramaine Hawkins and Ami Rushes.
Kurt announced via his Twitter page this week the upcoming release of 2 new singles, Bless This House and I’ve Seen Him Work available on iTunes on November 6th
