Grammy and Stellar Award winner Tye Tribbett will join Christian Rock group For King & Country as this year’s hosts for the GMA Dove Awards. The Dove Awards return to the Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University on Tuesday, October 11th. The show is being taped and will air on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 16th.
Tribbett just completed part 2 of his live recording The Bloody Win which featured a reunion of his group GA as well as wrapping up recording the first season as the new host of the BET Gospel Music Program, Joyful Noise.
BET announced its lineup of new and returning programs and featured in the lineup is Joyful Noise, an hour long program hosted by award winning Motown Gospel recording artist Tye Tribbett. The show will feature performances from celebrated as well as new and upcoming Gospel artists, an on the street feature manned by Willie Moore Jr, a local church feature and a sermonette from the nation’s leading pastors and pulpiteers.
Celebration of Gospel was included in the list of returning special programs.
Viewers are in for more love, life and a whole lot of laughs as BET announced the return of Its a Manns World, the reality series that takes us into the lives of entertainment power couple David and Tamela Mann and their family.
Set to make its second season premiere on February 23rd, Manns World will pick up following the family as they find themselves juggling careers, church and community and family life .
By all indications, this year’s Celebration of Gospel looks to be the show not to be missed as Tamela Mann delights audiences with the performance of her new single, One Way. Mann performed the song during this year’s festivities which will be airing Sunday, January 31st on BET.
With such hits as Take Me To The King, I Can Only Imagine, Speak Lord, You Deserve My Praise and more, Tamela Mann comes roaring back with One Way hitting digital retail outlets on Friday, January 29th.

The Sunday Best season 5 fan favorite who recently released his single Because You’ve Been Good on Fountain of Life Records was instantly recognized as he encountered the prom night crowd at a local restaurant in Mississippi on a weekend in early May. He was asked to sing and obliged the audience with a verse of Something About the Name Jesus. What he didn’t expect was the entire restaurant (including patrons and waitstaff) to join him in the rousing rendition. The moment was captured via cellphone and posted to social media sites. That musical event caught the attention of the local news and the social media post has garnered over 3 million views.
