Any Given Sunday Bows at Number 1

Casey J Continues Strong Showing At Radio

Bobby Jones Gospel -Day 1, Show 1Casey J continues her radio reign as Fill Me Up makes its return to the #1 spot on the radio chart for the 6th week.  The song is the anchor of her debut CD The Truth which hits stores and digital outlets on April 21st.

GOSPELflava was in the audience for this live recording and magnetic night of praise at the Fresh Start Church where she serves as Worship Leader (see our recap here) .

JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise Hit #1 On Billboard

SHIRTEDIT_MG_7911Its a victorious celebration as JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise’s 7th CD I See Victory which made its debut at #2 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart rises to the #1 spot.  Youthful Praise has and continues to be a dominant force  delivering songs of celebration including After This, Incredible God, Incredible Praise, Deliverer and Awesome God.  Hairston and YP will perform Bless Me on BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel on Sunday, November 23rd.

 

Hezekiah Walker’s Every Praise Spends 26 Weeks On Top of Billboard Chart

Congratulations to Bishop Hezekiah Walker! His Every Praise has been atop the Billboard Charts for 26 non-consecutive weeks at #1.  Every Praise now tops his former chaHez Coverrt topper, “Souled Out,” with the Love Fellowship Choir, which topped the chart for 14 weeks in 2009.

Billboard Releases Best of 2012 Lists Andrae Crouch, Charles Jenkins

Billboard has released its year end charts and topping the Gospel Songs Chart is Let the Church Say Amen from Andrae Crouch featuring Marvin L. Winans followed by Awesome from Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago.  Rounding out the top ten are My Testimony (Marvin Sapp), Shifting the Atmosphere (Jason Nelson), After This (JJ Hairston and YP), I Won’t Go Back (William McDowell), I Feel Good (Fred Hammond) Still Able (James Fortune), Go Get It (Mary Mary) and One More Time (Zacardi Cortez featuring John P Kee).

The Year End most popular gospel songs are determined by radio airplay detections as measured by Nielsen BDS.
