Billboard Releases Best of 2012 Lists Andrae Crouch, Charles Jenkins

Billboard has released its year end charts and topping the Gospel Songs Chart is Let the Church Say Amen from Andrae Crouch featuring Marvin L. Winans followed by Awesome from Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago.  Rounding out the top ten are My Testimony (Marvin Sapp), Shifting the Atmosphere (Jason Nelson), After This (JJ Hairston and YP), I Won’t Go Back (William McDowell), I Feel Good (Fred Hammond) Still Able (James Fortune), Go Get It (Mary Mary) and One More Time (Zacardi Cortez featuring John P Kee).

The Year End most popular gospel songs are determined by radio airplay detections as measured by Nielsen BDS.

This week he is topping charts. “Uncommon Me” is at the #1 spot on the Top Gospel &Top Christian Billboard Charts. The incomparable Casting Crowns continues to hold the #1 chart position on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart, with their newest project “Until The Whole World Hears”! This project has spent  an amazing 73 weeks on the chart overall. The have also charted at #39 on the Top 200 Billboard Chart (which is representative across all genres).

Mandisa, who we remember from Season 5 of American Idol, has debuted at the #2  position on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart with her newest project entitled  “What If We Were Real”Mandisa has lended her beautiful voice on  solo projects with the amazing Tobymac, and has sung with Sandi Patty and Take 6!
