Grammy winners Carol Cymbala and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir announced their live recording scheduled for Friday, September 26th and Sunday, September 28th. The choir has plans to do an “all the way live” recording with no studio tracking. “This is taking us back to the concept of our first album Giving Him Thanks back in 1981, “ says BTC Music and Conference administrator Kevin Lewis. “Carol wanted to go back to what defined our sound in the beginning because Brooklyn Tabernacle is best when it’s completely live and spontaneous.”

Tuesday, October 1st, 2013The famed Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir releases their new single Redeemed from their 27th album Love Lead the Way in time for the annual fall music gathering. The Brooklyn Tabernacle Church’s annual Music Conference kicks off Friday, October 4th and runs through Sunday, October 6th. Special musical guests include Anthony Evans and Sidney Mohede.
The Grammy and Dove Award winning 300 voice choir began the year by performing a rendition of “The Battle Hymn of The Republic” at President Obama’s inauguration ceremony on the steps of the U.S. Capitol BTC was also featured on the cover of The New York Times, highlighted in Time Magazine and performed on The Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” program.

Monday, January 21st, 2013Millions tuned in as the famed Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir delivered a rousing rendition of The Battle Hymn of the Republic at the 57th Presidential Inauguration. Over the last 40 years, BTC has been the recipient of many awards including six Grammy Awards and a cache of Dove Awards while selling over 4 million CDs and recording 28 albums.
