Dr Larry Reid Inks Distribution Deal With Central South

LDRCentral South Distribution welcomes Dr. Larry Reid’s LDREnterprises label to its family of distributed labels.  Dr. Reid and the Breakthrough Singers recently released their follow up EP The Set in March featuring the radio single Can’t Take God From Me and the disc made its debut in the top ten on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums Charts.


The Gordons Do Gospel In A Big Way

We got our first exposure to the Gordons via their debut on the “John P. Kee Presents: The New Artist Showcase” CD (Verity Records) with “Can’t Take No More” in 2005. Since that time, the familyGordons couch group from the lone star state of Texas have been winning fans over with their unique blend of traditional quartet harmonies and contemporary gospel style.  Securing a national distribution deal with Central South, The Gordons are now preparing for the release of their CD Project Love on their very own Airtone Entertainment label in early 2015.

Their single, Like You is making lasting impressions impacting radio and is available on iTunes and Amazon.   All we can add is make sure you get a good seat to enjoy the ride.

Wess Morgan Starts Livin On May 20th

Wess MorganIts almost unbelievable that we last heard something new from Wess Morgan in 2010 with the release of Under an Open Heaven which yielded the super hit, I Choose to Worship.  Worship dominated the Billboard Gospel Radio Chart for over 57 weeks and earned both a Stellar and Dove award nominations.  On May 20th, Wess Morgan invites us to start Livin as he releases his new CD on his Bowtie Music label with distribution from Central South.

Lisa Knowles & The Brown Singers Continue The Evolution

Lisa Knowles has proven to be a musical force to be reckoned with but doesn’t like to be categorized.  “I’ve always been labeled as one thing,” says Knowles when it comes to defining her style and place “Oh, she’sBrown Singers just a quartet singer or she’s just a churchy singer, but there are so many layers to me. I’m just showcasing what God gave me. People ask how I categorize myself and I say: I don’t know. I’m just Lisa.”

Knowles and her group, The Brown Singers are ready to make another mark with the release of their latest effort, The Evolution Continues from Zantino Kimmons’ One Voice Media label with distribution from Central South.  While the project delivers on traditional quartet, there’s a lot of musical variety in store, including a cover of LaShun Pace’s He’s Able.  All in all, its 11 tracks of undeniably great gospel music produced by Marque Walker.
