Bryan Andrew Wilson Video Debuts On Centric TV

BryanWilsonsinglecoverTurning Away, the hit single from Bryan Andrew Wilson’s The One Percent CD makes it debut in video form on Sunday February 1st on Centric TV’s Lifted program.  The single has placed in the top 15 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart and earned a Stellar Award nomination for Wilson.  A new single, Faithful God is on its way to radio.

Donnie McClurkinThe Centric Network will celebrate Black History Month with Being,  an eight episode  hour long weekly series examining the lives of African American entertainers and celebrities and the obstacles they have overcome.  Premiering on February 15th, BEING will take an in depth look at the life and times of Wendy Williams , Chaka Khan , Al Sharpton , Dionne Warwick , Donnie McClurkin , Ruben Studdard and more.

The series features exclusive interviews, archival footage and photos spanning the careers of these high profile newsmakers.  Being is narrated by hip hop music maker Big Daddy Kane. Check your local listings for time and station information in your area.

Genita Pugh on Centric, Bobby Jones and The Word Network

Chances are you’ll turn on your tv this weekend and see Genita Pugh.  The music video for her current radio smash “Who Can?” makes its television debut on Centric TV’s “Lifted” inspirational video program.  In addition,  Pugh makes her performance debut on BET’s long-running “Bobby Jones Gospel” program where she performs “Presence of the Lord”  The praise continues on Friday, December 21st,  when Pugh performs live on The Word Network’s “Rejoice in the Word” program.

Centric Debuts Champion From SGM

Chicago-based Praise and Worship ensemble Shekinah Glory Ministry (SGM) continues to  set the standard for urban praise and worship music. Their current radio single, “Champion”led by Danielle Nightingale, moves up to #36 on this week’s Nielsen BDS Top 100 gospel format play list report. Verity Gospel Music Group Recording Artist Latice Crawford Set To Appear In New Reality Series “Almost Married”

Latice Crawford entered the lives of Gospel music lovers on season 2 of Sunday Best with her soulful raspy tone and effortless vocal performances reminiscent of the late great Whitney Houston. On Saturday 12/8/12  at 9pm on Centric a new reality TV series will air chronicling her journey to the altar with season 2 cast mate, Jeff Spain. “Almost Married” will air twice a week on Centric and will wrap up in January 2013. Latice is currently in the studio recording songs for an EP to be released in March of  2013.

2010 Soul Train Award Nominees

The 2010 Soul Train Award Nominees were announced and the Gospel category is well represented with heavy hitters! The nominees for Best Gospel Performance are Fred Hammond, Pastor Marvin Sapp, Youthful Praise featuring JJ Hairston,  Tye Tribbett, Lisa Page Brooks, and Bishop Hezekiah Walker and The Love Fellowship Choir ! The award show will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard and will be taped on November 10th at the Cobb Energy Center in metro Atlanta.The awards will air on on Sunday November 28, 2010 on CENTRIC and BET at 9:00 p.m. Congratulations to all the nominees and be sure to tune in and support!
