Early Birthday Presents For Jonathan McReynolds

Fueled by the release of Gotta Have You and Pressure, the highly anticipated disc made its debut at #1 on the Amazon Hot New Releases in Christian Music Chart.  The Chicago native will celebrate the release of the CD with a birthday party/CD release event in Chicago.  Guests include Israel Houghton, Travis Green and India Arie followed by additional performances in New York, DC, Oklahoma, Virginia, Canada and Norway.

Mcreynolds Life MusicEver since the electrifying performance of the hit Pressure on this year’s Stellar Awards, fans have been waiting with great anticipation for the new album from Jonathan McReynolds.  We are pleased to report that McReynolds sophomore effort, Life Music: Stage Two will hit stores and digital outlets on September 18th.

McReynolds states, “I wrote my first album as a college student. This second album, as a college teacher. My life has changed – different pressures, more revelation, more musical ideas. The one thing that hasn’t: my approach to songwriting. Still aiming to be transparent and genuine. Message first.”

With notable performances at the Stellars, BET Celebration of Gospel, the Essence Music Festival and the BET Music Matters showcase, McReynolds continues to tour in support of the upcoming CD release with stops in Washington DC, Tampa, Baltimore, Mobile AL, Boston, New York and overseas.

HELP 2.0 is making a noise across the spectrum, landing in the top 10 on the Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart in addition to placement on  the Top 200, Top Current Albums, Top Independent Albums and Top Current Digital.

“There is just so much more to sing and say,” said this year’s multiple Stellar Award winner. “I’m just getting started! As long as God keeps opening the door for me I’ll keep walking through it! So humbled and so grateful.”

30th Annual Stellar Gospel Music AwardsEntertainment One Music carried the night at the 30th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards.  Eone artists Erica Campbell, Dorinda Clark Cole, Ricky Dillard Deitrick Haddon, Jonathan McReynolds and Michelle Williams performed during the eventful celebration as eOne artists took home 14 awards out of the 28 categories.

Erica Campbell, Ricky Dillard, William McDowell, Michelle Williams took home awards in the major categories while Bishop Paul Morton received special honors.

Erica Campbell Celebrates Stellar Wins

Erica Campbell was the big winner at the 30th annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards taking home 6 statues for Artist of the Year, CD of the Year, Contemporary 30th Annual Stellar Gospel Music AwardsCD of the Year, the Albertina Walker Female Artist of the Year and Contemporary Female Artist of the Year, all for her debut solo project Help.

Campbell’s team was also celebrated on the winning night with awards going to Warryn Campbell for Producer of the Year and Derek Blanks for Recorded Music Packaging of the Year.

The excitement continues as Help 2.0 (the remix album) hits stores and digital outlets on Tuesday, March 31st.

Entertainment One Signs Deitrick Haddon To Music and TV/Film Deal

Dove Award Win And Performance For Erica Campbell

Lecrae and ECCatch Erica Campbell as she performs Help,  the title track from her debut solo CD on the broadcast premiere of this year’s Dove Awards.  The show will air on Sunday, October 12th on the TBN network.

Campbell shared the stage during the performance of Help with Dove Awards co host Lecrae, and took home a statue for Traditional Gospel Song of the Year for A Little More Jesus. Fans get to experience the behind the scenes action of the Campbell family as the 4th season of Mary Mary is in production and Erica expands her brand outreach with a 10 color line of nail polish.

 

Michelle Williams Earns A Spot In Billboard Top Ten

Its new music from JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise in the form of Bless Me, a new radio single from I See Victory, the group’s forthcoming CD.  Pastor Donnie McClurkin joins YP on the song SHIRTEDIT_MG_7911which is available at digital outlets everywhere.  I See Victory was recorded live in Bloomfield, Connecticut and also features performances from Karen Clark Sheard, Vashawn Mitchell, Jason Nelson and Deon Kipling.  The full project hits stores on October 28th.

Heartbeat is produced by Grammy winning producers J.R. and Symbolyc One (S1), as well as Justin Ebach, (Newsboys) and Alex Medina. The disc includes performances from Lecrae, Chris August, Isaac Caree, Alexis Spight, Canon, Papa San and Capital Kings.
