Palm Sunday Weekend was the backdroup as Memphis’ own Vincent Tharpe and Kenosis embarked upon a 22 city tour in support of their EPM Music Group CD Release Live In Memphis. Dubbed the Faith Tour, Tharpe shared his excitement about the tour; “This tour is a testament that we can do all things through Christ! This…. is our way of putting action behind Faith.”
VTK will travel through the south, midwest and east coast with stops in Arkansas, Mississippi , Missouri , Ohio, DC and New York.
Two singles from the CD, Thank You Lord and Let’s Praise Him are making the rounds at radio and climbing up the BDS singles chart.
2013 is taking shape as the last day of January marks the release of great gospel music into the marketplace. After a few problems with iTunes yesterday, things finally got “Better” for Charles Butler, Jr and Trinity. Better is the first single from the DC based group on the EPM Music Group Label and the full project is slated for a February 26th release. Things are changing for Gospel’s Hardest Working Man. It was announced late today that Earnest Pugh is relocating from the DC area to Houston to consult with Houston’s Silverlake Christian Church pastored by Reginald DeVaughn.
EPM Music Group’s Vincent Tharpe and Kenosis makes an impressive debut at #9 on the Billboard Gospel Album’s Chart. This is the first national release for the Memphis based ensemble whose project was released on October 30th.
EPM Music Group continues to hold its own as Christmas with Earnest Pugh and Friends also makes the top ten landing at #5 on the Billboard Chart.

Vincent Tharpe and Kenosis have already established a presence in gospel music with appearances on BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel in addition to taking top prize at Dorinda Clark Cole’s Singers & Musicians Conference Artist Showcase Competition in 2011.
