New Music and Live Recording For Israel Houghton

Israel 1014Israel Houghton wants you to know that you are covered as his new single is released to radio.    “Anyone who has followed our music for any length of time in our 15 years of existence knows that we tend to sing a lot about God’s grace,” said Israel Houghton.  “We all need it. This single “Covered” represents the newest—and I believe clearest version of that force of God’s favor that I’ve ever had the privilege of writing.”

Israel and New Breed set their sites on Asia for a multi-country live recording of COVERED…ALIVE IN ASIA.  The new album will mark Houghton’s 10th album with New Breed.  The project will feature a concert film on limited theatrical release and DVD and a Spanish companion album.

Daniel Johnson Live Recording November 30

In the midst of family gatherings and giving thanks, the city of Houston is preparing for the live recording of Daniel Johnson on November 30th.  Johnson, a Los Angeles native is most familiar from his work with Israel and New Breed.  Before relocating to Houston, Johnson spent time as a member of the Andrae Crouch Singers and is featured on Crouch’s The Promise CD.  You can also check out Daniel on his 2011 solo CD release You Make Me and on The V. Michael McKay God Talk project.

Israel & New Breed are set to release their much anticipated recording “Jesus At The Center“. Over the years Israel & New Breed have produced praise and worship standards for Christians across the globe. Their latest recording effort was recorded at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. The title track of the project, “Jesus at The Center” has already begun to create a buzz among churches across the world. “Your Presence Is Heaven” is the upcoming single from the project. Jason Nelson and James Fortune are also featured on the 2 disc 17 track project. “Jesus At The Center” is set to be released on August 14th, 2012.

Michelle Williams signs to Light Records/eOne.  We know Michelle Williams from the powerhouse R&B/Pop girl group Destiny’s Child, and from her solo Gospel recording efforts (2002 “Heart To Yours“, and 2004 “Do You Know“). She has also graced the theatrical stage with roles in “Aida”, “The Color Purple”, and “Chicago”, where she was cast as the first African-American to play the lead role of the hit stage play.  We’re looking forward to the release of a single and new project in January of 2013 from Michelle Williams.

 


 

 

 

William McDowell is preparing for his first live DVD recording on June 29th, 2012 in Orlando, Florida. McDowell has penned one of the most impactful songs in Gospel music in the past 10 years, “I Give Myself Away“.  McDowell continues to raise the bar with his ability to offer songs that speak to the heart of praise and worship. He is joined by some of Gospel music’s best and brightest, and up and coming artists such as: Tasha Cobbs, Jason Nelson.
