Mixed Bag Entertainment announced the signing of Sunday Best Season 5 Winner Joshua Rogers. Well Done, Rogers first album was released by Mathew Knowles’ Music World Gospel label. He followed that with Unconditional in 2013. Both discs placed in the top 5 spots on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart. Rogers was released from his recording contract with Mathew Knowles’ Music World Gospel earlier this year.
Mark Mims, COO of Mixed Bag Entertainment states: “We’re excited to add a talented artist like Joshua to Mixed Bag Entertainment. He has so much to offer the gospel music community and we can’t wait to share his new music with his dedicated fans.” Emanuel “DA TRUTH” Lambert, CEO of Mixed Bag Entertainment adds: “Joshua Rogers is the full package. He’s a gospel singer with a golden voice and a great heart! We are super excited to have him on the Mixed bag team!” Gary Crockett, Co-founder and CSO of Mixed Bag Entertainment also states: “Joshua Rogers is the full package. We’re excited that Mixed Bag gets to be a part of the next and most exciting phase of his career by bringing the many dynamics of Joshua’s talent to bigger platforms including film, television and live stage plays.”
Joshua heads into the studio to create new music with the assistance of Grammy winning producer Blac Elvis, with plans for a single release in the fall and a full-length album in 2017.
“I’m optimistic about my future with Mixed Bag Entertainment,” said Rogers. “I’m in a position where I can create the best quality of music that is meaningful, storytelling and relatable for my fans.”
