Riverphlo Announces the Re-signing of Marcus Cole

Marcus ColeGospel music lovers and die hard Commissioned fans will remember Marcus Cole as part of the group for the Time and Seasons CD. This affiliation was Cole’s first exposure to a national audience and would lead to additional high profile appearances on additional projects from Fred Hammond, Joann Rosario and Andrae Crouch. The multi-talented vocalist, songwriter, musician and producer teamed up with Riverphlo founder Luther Mano Haynes to release Write My Song, his debut solo project in 2006. In 2013, Cole once again connects with Riverphlo Entertainment joining the ranks of Andrae Crouch, Vonnie Lopez, fellow Commissioned member Keith Staten and Leon Timbo.

Riverphlo Announces Signing of Keith Staten

Keith StatenCommissioned fans let up a collective shout as Luther Mano Hanes, President/CEO of Riverphlo Music Group announced the signing of former Commissioned lead singer Keith Staten. The Riverphlo family of artists already includes multiple Grammy and Dove award winner Andrae Crouch, Vonnie Lopez and Leon Timbo.

“This is a great day for our Riverphlo team,” said Riverphlo President, Mano Hanes. “Keith Staten is not only one of gospel’s most distinguished voices but is a true worshiper. As one of my biggest influences, Keith helped shape the sound and legacy of the great gospel group Commissioned. I am truly humbled and honored to help shape his solo career.”

The album will be Staten’s first studio recording in over 15 years and is scheduled for a Summer, 2014 release.
