Ben Tankard’s Full Tank 2.0 Drops February 10th
Thursday, January 29th, 2015Ben Tankard, widely regarded as the “Godfather of Gospel Jazz” offers up a new installment of musical melodies in Full Tank 2.0, the follow up disc to his 2012 Grammy and Stellar nominated Full Tank project. The CD is filled with noteworthy music including the lead single, Reach Out and Touch (Somebody’s Hand) featuring Kirk Whalum and a cover of the Staple Singers’ classic, I’ll Take You There featuring Shirley Murdock.

Kirk Whalum Live Recording November 15th
Thursday, October 24th, 2013Grammy winning instrumentalist Kirk Whalum will record his fourth installment of the ever popular Gospel According to Jazz series on November 15th at the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, New York. Joining Kirk for this session are Norman Brown, Rick Braun and Kevin Whalum.
Kirk won a Grammy for Its What I Do featuring Lalah Hathaway from the Gospel According to Jazz Chapter 3 CD.

This Year’s Gospel Grammy Winners
Tuesday, February 15th, 2011The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were held Sunday February 13, 2011 in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center. Yolanda Adams represented the entire Gospel Community as being the only Gospel performer during the live show, in tribute to the “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin. Bebe and Cece Winans proved to be the big winners in the Gospel category as they took home both awards they were nominated for.
