Banner Year for McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour

63891-Vickie-Winans-originalThe 2013 McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Tour set a record raising more than $83,000 supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).  This year’s tour was hosted by Vickie Winans and featured Smokie Norful and son Ashton, Lecrae and John P. Kee with Tamela Mann in select cities.  The mission of the Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour is to bring service, encouragement and entertainme63891-Tamela-Mann-originalnt to communities while emphasizing the importance of giving back.  The tour kicked off in May in Washington, DC and made stops in Philadelphia, Newark, Birmingham, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago and Louisville before culminating in Dallas August 30 at Bishop T.D. Jakes’ MegaFest.

Smokie Norful, Tamela Mann, John P Kee And LeCrae Headline McDonalds Gospel Tour

MCDONALD'S USA, LLC SMOKIE NORFULSmokie Norful and son Ashton will take their show on the road as part of McDonalds Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour beginning May 9th in Washington, DC.  The Norfuls will be joined by Tamela Mann, John P. Kee, 2013 Grammy Award winner Lecrae and host Vickie Winans on the multi city tour.  In its 7th year, the tour touches the community through the power of Gospel Music as well as reinvesting in the community through the Ronald McDonald Charities.

Host Vickie Winans shared these sentiments: “Giving back to those around us is crucial, especially with the recent tough times our families and communities have faced. Now more than ever, our communities need to know we are there for them, and that’s something the McDonald‘s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour has set out to do.
