Michael Bethany Makes Debut In Top 5 on Billboard

Tuesday, July 19th, 2016

Bethany Album CoverMichael Bethany’s solo debut Yours Forever makes its entrance in the Top 5 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart.  Bethany shared these words of appreciation, “”WOW”, I am always grateful to God for the opportunity He gives ordinary people to accomplish great things in the kingdom.  This has been a long journey, and along the way, I dealt with issues of if this was what I should be doing, was I even good enough to do this and the associated doubts and discouragement that comes along with the process.  I was quickly humbled when I realized that none of this is about me and I clung to God’s promises.  When it all boils down, the answer is simple, honor God, stay in His word and hold to His promises. He will come through.”

Bethany continues touring in support of the CD’s release with scheduled stops bringing him to the midwest and east coast in late Summer and early Fall.

Artist Discovery: Michael Bethany

Friday, February 22nd, 2013

Mike BethanyIf you’ve seen Fred Hammond in concert over the past 5 years or so, you are more than likely familiar with Michael Bethany.  The St. Louis native has been in the Hammond camp since 2005, first appearing on the Free to Worship CD.  Bethany added a producer credit to his resume and co-wrote They That Wait on Hammond’s 2009 Love Unstoppable CD.  But the major impression was made by his acapella, soul-stirring, heartfelt rendition of I Need You Right Away.  Michael’s heart for worship has been cultivated since his youth and is evident in his  powerful God invoking delivery.  Let’s say it like this, when Michael Bethany sings, God comes near.

Bethany is set to come into his own as he is now putting the finishing touches on his first solo project scheduled for release in the summer of 2013. We know and can say without equivocation that Michael Bethany is definitely one of 2013’s big things. While you wait, enjoy this clip
