New Music From Cinque Cullar

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014

cinqueheadshot2We placed Cinque Cullar on our watch list a long time ago.  Besides having a rather odd first name, this young man has been called to bring people into the presence of God through worship.  A Chicago native, Cullar spent his formative years as part of the Soul Children of Chicago under the leadership of Walter Whitman.  Cinque travelled across the United States and overseas with this prestigious group and was featured on their  hit Celebrate from their Generation X Celebration CD.  After traveling through Europe with Gospel legend Rev. Jessy Dixon, Cullar organized the Tribe of Judah and later recorded with the Stellar Award nominated male group Fortitude.  Cinque accepted his call to the ministry and released his solo debut, Letters to God.  With a heart for young people, Cullar travels the country doing youth events and choir workshops yet finds time to minister as worship leader at Chicago’s St. Sabina Catholic Church and Salem Baptist Church of Chicago.  His new single, Let the Glory of the Lord is getting rave review at radio and Letters to God is available at digital outlets everywhere.

Cinque Cullar Delivers Letters To God

Friday, March 22nd, 2013

WheCinque 2n Cinque Cullar sings “God has been good to me”, he articulates those words with heartfelt assurance, conviction and power.  A Chicago native, his love for music would lead to an association with the famed Soul Children of Chicago, travelling across the United States.  As his gift made room for him, Cullar would travel overseas and minister across Europe with gospel legend Jessy Dixon as well as various stops in Switzerland and Israel with SCCOC founder Walt Whitman.    Cullar would find his next place in the gospel group Fortitude, recording for Word Records and garnering a Stellar nomination.

Some years later, Cullar  (now an ordained minister and Alabama State University alum) moves into his next chapter, recording and releasing his solo CLetters to GodD debut Letters to God.  Featuring the production artistry of Percy Bady, Freddy Moffet and G. Lafayette Simmons, Letters to God is Cullar’s way of using music to show his appreciation for all that God has done.  His lead single, Continual Praise is making impact at radio as he gets in gear to kick off a tour with his beloved Tribe of Judah, the college choir he founded while at ASU.
