Bishop Hezekiah Walker-Concert & Official Announcement of His Elevation to Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Churches of Jesus Christ

Tuesday, April 26th, 2011

On April 24th, which is known by the gospel community as “Resurrection Sunday”, Bishop Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Tabernacle hosted morning and evening services at the Brooklyn Marriott in NYC.  We were able to attend the evening service where communion was served and the official anouncement ceremony of his elevation took place. The evening’s announcement ceremony was just a pre-cursor to the June 12th ceremony that will take place in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was followed by a gospel concert featuring: The Love Fellowship Tabernacle Choir, The Nevels Sisters, JMoss, JJ Hairston&YouthFul Praise,  and Tye Tribbett. Bebe Winans was also in the house to help celebrate with Bishop Walker.  It was a wonderful time had by all! Congratulations Bishop Walker! We will remind our readers about Bishop’s elevation services as the ceremonial date approaches.
