Virtue Releases Lyric Video For Miracle

Virtue Sings Clark SistersFresh from their tribute performance to the legendary Clark Sisters at the Essence Festival, Virtue releases a lyric video for their top 30 radio hit Miracle.  I’m Looking For a Miracle was written by Elbernita Twinkie Clark and originally recorded by the Clark Sisters on their 1980 Is My Living In Vain LP.  The women of Virtue made the song a part of Fearless, their seventh studio project.

“Miracle” has spent more than 6 consecutive weeks in the Top 30 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart .

Virtue Set To Honor Clark Sisters At Essence Festival

VirtueGoatFarm-39Clark Sisters OLTGRAMMY nominated female group Virtue (Ebony Holland, Karima Kibble, and Heather Martin) will join Yolanda Adams, Travis Greene, Brian Courtney Wilson, Tasha Page Lockhart, Kierra Sheard, Faith Evans and Keke Wyatt in paying tribute to the legendary Clark Sisters at the Essence Festival on July 3rd in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Virtue’s current radio single, Miracle (written by Twinkie Clark and recorded by the Clark Sisters in the 80s) has spent 6 weeks in the top 30 on the Billboard radio chart.  Miracle comes from the group’s seventh studio album, Fearless, which made its debut at #3 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart.

Continuing their summer promotional stops, Virtue will appear at Kirk Franklin’s 20 Years In One Night World Tour on Tuesday, June 14 at The Alabama Theatre.

Joshua Rogers Joins Mixed Bag Entertainment Roster

JoshRogersMixed Bag Entertainment announced the signing of Sunday Best Season 5 Winner Joshua Rogers.  Well Done, Rogers first album was released by Mathew Knowles’ Music World Gospel label. He followed that with Unconditional in 2013.  Both discs placed in the top 5 spots on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.  Rogers was released from his recording contract with Mathew Knowles’ Music World Gospel earlier this year.

Virtue Sep14The 50th anniversary of the historic march to Selma will be commemorated with a concert on the Edmund Pettus Bridge on Sunday, March 8th.  Sister group Virtue will join in with additional  performances and speeches offered by Anthony Hamilton, Arrested Development, Bebe Winans, Fantasia, Bell Biv DeVoe, D-Nice, Donnie McClurkin, Eddie Levert, Eric Benet, Flavor Flav, Keith Sweat, Kelly Price, MC Lyte, Rick Ross, Tank, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Cicely Tyson, Harry Belafonte and the keynote address from President Barack Obama.

The concert is set to stream live on BET.COM and CentricTV.com

 

Virtue Trio Returns With Testimony Reloaded
