Tyscot Records, the nation’s oldest Black Gospel label is ecstatic with the news of its five nominations for the 47th annual Dove Awards. Anthony Brown & group therAPy continue their year of celebration as Worth is a contender in the Song of the Year and Urban Worship Recorded Song of the Year categories. Brown was also nominated for Gospel Artist of the Year and Everyday Jesus was nominated for Traditional Gospel Album of the Year.
Briana “Bri” Babineaux earned her first Dove Award nomination in the newly created category of Urban Worship Album of the Year for her debut album “Keys To My Heart” that debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Magazine’s Gospel Albums sales chart this past spring.

Gospel recording artists Anthony Brown and group therAPy and Brian Courtney Wilson stopped by St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital for a very special 
performance and meet and greet with patients.
Despite having hectic schedules, the Grammy award nominated artists took time from their busy schedules to donate their time and talent to perform
for the patients, their families and the hardworking staff at SJCRH.

The 29th Annual ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards were handed out in Los Angeles on June 23rd and Motown Gospel recording artist Bryan Courtney Wilson took home the honor for the Top Gospel Song for his chart topping composition Worth Fighting For. Tyscot recording artists Anthony Brown and group therAPy performed a rousing rendition of their chart topping single Worth capping off the evening’s musical performances. Its been a good year for Tyscot Records and the blessings just continue to flow. The oldest existing African American Gospel Music label began the year with a record 10 Stellar Award wins for Anthony Brown and group therAPy. The radio hit Worth from their Everyday Jesus project spent 21 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Gospel Digital sales chart. The album also received three Billboard Music Award nominations.
Newcomer Casey J continues her reign holding down the top spot on the Billboard radio charts with her current radio single I’m Yours, and internet sensation Bri (Briana) Babineaux made her Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart debut at number 1 and held on to the top spot for another week with the release of Keys To My Heart.
In honor of their 4 decades in the business, Tyscot will release “Feel Good! 40 Years of Life Changing Music,” a fifteen-track compilation featuring some of the label’s top acts past and present, in celebration of the historic recording firm’s 40th anniversary on April 29th.

Anthony Brown and group TherAPy continue the year of great things as the Billboard Music Awards nominations were announced today. The group received nominations for Top Gospel Album for the number one album Everyday Jesus, Top Gospel Song for the single “Worth,” and Top Gospel Artist.
It was just in March that Brown made history taking home a record ten statues during the Stellar Awards held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Everyday Jesus made its debut atop the Billboard Top Gospel albums charts and held the position for seven weeks, while Worth was number one on the radio charts for 25 weeks.
The Billboard Music Awards take place on Sunday May 22nd.

Anthony Brown and group therAPy will never forget the 2016 Stellar Awards. That night the DMV based group took home a record 10 wins including Artist of the Year, CD of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Group/Duo of the Year and the State Farm Song of the Year for the hit song “Worth.” 
“This has literally been the most overwhelming experience in my life,” said Brown. “I love gospel music and I love the Stellar Awards and I’ve always wondered what it would feel like to be on that stage. I never dreamed that when I got the opportunity, it would be like THIS. It is a dream come true and is proof that God remembers …”
Brown and group therAPy take to the stage to perform a medley including their new single Bless the Lord and Worth at the Stellar Awards telecast premiering on TVone on March 6th.

Tyscot Records is basking in the afterglow of the Stellar Award nominations announcement. Anthony Brown and group therAPy earned 10 nominations (the most for any artist this year) for their sophomore project, Everyday Jesus.
The disc received nods for Song of the Year and Producer of the year in addition toA rtist of the Year, CD of the Year, Contemporary CD of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year, Group/Duo of the Year and Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year. “Wow…is all I can say. I am so honored and extremely humbled to be nominated,” said Brown. “I have a great amount of respect for The Stellar Awards and for all of the artist who share the gospel around the world. I’m elated to be considered amongst them.”
Adding to the celebration was news of the Grammy nomination for the hit single, Worth which spent 17 weeks at number one gospel radio and was one of the best selling digital singles of 2015.
