Ziel Makes Their Return

Zie’l captured the attention of the Gospel music industry with their stunning debut album GENESIS, which featured remakes of the Clark Sisters’ “Is My Living In Vain” and the Clara Ward Singers iconic staple,  “Surely He’s Able.” September 2nd marks their return with the release of their sophomore project for Dream Gospel offering praise and worship, traditional gospel, soulful r&b infusions and always flawlessly mesmerizing vocals that will cement Zie’l as one of the greatest feZiel picmale groups in contemporary Gospel music.

A CD release concert was held on August 31st at Bright Star Baptist Church in their hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana, and the group is heading out on a promotional tour covering New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington,D.C. before heading to the southeast cities of Dallas, Houston and Nashville.

ZIE’L Declares A State Of Emergency

Zie’l is back and making the rounds with their new single, State of Emergency.  Penned by the group’s own Keyondra Lockett with production assistance from Grammy nominated Drathoven (Tyrese, Yolanda Adams, Shei Atkins, Zacardi Cortez, Jacob Lattimore)Ziel pic, “State of Emergency” is the first Gospel single to be released by Dream Gospel Records.

Keyondra shared her feelings of how the song came to be: “State of Emergency came from some experiences in my life. I’ve been in dire straits and found myself needing The Lord and he came through for me! The Bible says that they we overcome by the word of our testimony. I pray that my testimony through this song helps someone else make it through their state of emergency.”

Dream Records Expands Roster With New Signings

Dream Records threw its hat in the GOSPEL arena with the announcement of its Dream Gospel label and the signings of Jason Wright and the Master’s Touch, Ziel and B. Chase Williams.  Dream Records BchaseWilliamswas founded in 2008 by David Hanley, lead singer of the Christian Rock band Press Play.  Dream Label Group is the home to CCM artists Aaron Bagwell and Cindy Cruse Ratcliff.

Jason Wright and The Master’s Touch will be going into the studio this summer to record their debut album on DREAM Gospel to be released July 8th. B. Chase Williams’ single is headed to radio now with a full CD release scheduled for the summer.
